The Apple Strudel here is brilliant - the mini one also. But I would say that’s it. I have tried a few other items from here - generally been a hit and miss. Some are good - some not so much. I had a Honey cake from here last week and it was quite dry. Would still give a 4 stars because the Strudel is simply that good.

The Apple strudel is heavenly with the airy and crispy puff. I can believe I can cut through the pastry with a wooden knife so easily. The cream is not too sweet and light.

The honey cake and apple strudel were really good and full of flavour. I give it 4/5 however the customer experience was poor. The lady who assisted me was awfully blunt and rude. She has a ‘commander’ tone and was basically instructing me to do/not to do things a few times. I did not notice the sign ‘do not lean on counter’ and accidentally pushed the joinery by little, as soon as I realised it I tried to pull it back. She was telling me off not to lean on it and there’s a sign at the front. Really? I felt like little kid being disciplined. Is this the kind of customer experience you’d appreciate these days?

Had it last time I was in Perth in 2014 and still missing it! The best Apple strudel ever! Not too sweet and it’s perfect!

Huge portion comes in half which is for 3 pax and full for 6pax. However, the lady who serves me was so kind to offer me a one portion apple strudel🥺 The pastry was flaky and the cream was light and refreshing not with the perfect sweetness.

Ordered Apple strudel and a hazelnut cannoli. Apple strudel now has a half size which is good to share between a few friends. The cannoli had some nut shells which led to the 3 stars…

Italian torte & sicilian cannoli bought for my birthday 🎂. Italian torte without traditional liqueur layer, very dry. Cannoli shells very thin, which made them go soggy & soft the very next day - didn't last 24hrs. Upsetting as this was a great shop. Only one authentic place left in Perth, just not here. 😢 …

Always a wonderful experience. We've been coming here for decades and the pastry offerings just keep delivering their delightful flavour bursts. Any party anywhere and we're likely to visit to collect something from their range. A firm favourite is the strudel, but check out the rest! It gets pretty busy and placing an order a couple of days beforehand is a good idea. Parking is pretty limited, Lake Street is probably your best bet, but don't overstay your welcome, the parking inspectors are fierce. Highly recommended!
